Chitosante (Chitin) |
|
Chitosan is extracted from sea shells and is well known as biocompatible, biodegradable and non toxic. This chemical compound is normally added to fabric for its special benefits. When chitosan is added to fiber in fabric, Chitosante is formed. This new fabric is very absorbent, durable, fast drying, soft, static free, wrinkle free and breathable. Chitosante has natural anti-bacterial properties making it odor resistant compared to normal fabric.
